I had a similar thing happen to me when I was 12. My mom took us camping at Sycamore creek at the bottom of Fish Creek Hill on AZ 88. We had started home and she had a hypoglycemic spell. I had to drive a 69 Chrysler Newport all the way up Fish Creek Hill(this was when it was still dirt and one way at a time) all the way to Tortilla Flat to get a candy bar. BIG car, little bitty road. Good thing I've always loved things with a motor!!!!!!!! And shelf roads still don't bother me!
