I'm starting to believe the organized Narco trade (not the nickel dime guys) is finding it's way into the tourist area's of RP. We where hanging out in the second floor bar of the dolphin last Friday night at around 9:00 p.m. when all of a sudden the corner table erupted in a bunch of yelling. Next thing you know some hombre starts screaming at the top of his lungs and pulls out what looks like a 9mm and points it into the air and starts waving it around. More yelling, he finally leaves after crotching the gun. When we ask what happened we where told it was a federale that had to much to drink, don't think so. The owner was sitting there doing his thing!!

gunner - About time you woke up. Narcos have been flagrantly brandishing their firearms in town for several years with impunity. You know that they are not police because of the manner in which they act. If a common Mexican citizen or a tourist is caught by the police with an empty cartridge case, that person is in deep trouble.

The way some of the police act in PP it could just as well have been one of them.
Most narco trafficantes in RP keep a pretty low profile

dm- Possibly, but not likely. Never seen any law enforcement authority losing control, waving a firearm, and threatening anyone in a public place. On the other hand, there is an ongoing turf war between the traficantes, and they have been recently reducing each other's population, if you are at all aware of the recent news. For the most part, they do keep a very low profile.

Well, at the end of the malecon and "Vina del Mar" they have the local "weed" at a high price but if you go to 'Las Palomas" they will sell it to you at a higher price for the same "weed" and watch out for the guys trying to pass oregano for "weed" at Sonoran Spa, plus they are mean, they are from Tijuana!!! :eek3:
