Actually I was. Was able to get TIP at San Luis crossing. The boarder agents were very helpfully. I was able to get the TIP bc I did not already have it assigned to my passport number. Cost 74 bucks.

I applied for TIP a few days ago. I still have not received permit. I have recite of filing online for it. Will the border customs let take boat to rocky point? Any suggestion? I have a 4 hour drive to boarder at lukevill and don't want to be turned around. I have all other paper work...
