Finding rental with kitchen

We are still planning to visit in a few days for 3 to 4 days. How do we go about finding the best deal on a 2 or 3 bedroom condo?

Gracias!

Hi there TL--I don't know if you ever made your trip, but many owners who rent have everything go through their management company. There are a bunch and each handles specific properties--SeaSide reservations handles Sonoran Sun, Sonoran Sky, Bella Sirena, and a bunch more. RPR rents other resorts, and there are numerous other rental companies like Castaways and Real Estate agencies that represent individual owners. There are also online agencies like VRBO.com and HomeAway.com. Some people rent on their own via Craigs List and in the classifieds, but you may (not necessarily) have less recourse if something goes wrong and they don't live nearby. FYI--Mexico wants their piece of the pie just like anywhere else. Owners HAVE to charge lodging/hospitality tax of 18%, like hotels do (well, if they want to be legal anyway). Often the management company adds on fees that go to the homeowners association, damage fees, and cleaning fees (which don't directly go to the housekeeper). By renting through someone who doesn't use a management company, you might be able to negotiate the rate, damage and cleaning fees. The fees that go to the HOA's of condos usually aren't negotiable. Enjoy your future trips!
