The roads into and at Santo Tomas are fine (civil engineers that built them right to begin with) but the coastal highway headed toward Puerto Penasco was a nightmare this morning.The 8 mile detour is a mud pit...dangerous as trucks are slipping all over the place.

Well so much for a trip to Kino. Maybe over Thanksgiving. I'm really tempted to take the long route down, It's a longer trip but at least the roads are predictable.

The water trucks are still throwing rocks on the detour. Just went through Sunday. Had to drive to Flagstaff with a badly damaged windshield.
