Any kind of meat products including dog food. But there may be more. I don't normally pay attention to that since I buy everything locally. Fresher, cheaper, and tastier.

in other words everything. Try going to lobos and not bring anything. By the time you stop to shop it's a 2 day affair. Jerry the secondary checkpoint between rockypoint and lobos is still open and gave tony a bunch of shite, today. went through the whole truck

no way..The organic produce at sprouts kills any Sonoran Grocery.Lettuce? What the hell do Mexicans have against Romaine? Chicken costs more, you also get no Free Range choice just some Sad little hen raised in a Bouros hell hole of factory farm.lunch meat anyone? Mexican cold cuts also suck. Now beef is another story, same with seafood.

Well, finally a post I can agree with, they're version of walmart is a zoo on most weekends, Pretty much empty the refrig and bring everything down, American style food is expensive for a family of 4. I have to tip-toe through Sonoyta, don't want to go and pay the ticket at the police station, could never survive the search.

2 salty dawgs
for this week - do you think they will be more lenient? Wondering if I should hide the avocados I'm bringing with us? Never felt a need to hide much food on the way down, we stop at Super Ley when we get into town, but the avocados are usually pretty picked over by Wed afternoon.

The Fruiteria on Sinaloa had tons of avocados 2 weeks ago. Most of them were ripe and perfect to eat. We eat them with meals, or between meals as a snack. Cut in half, squeeze in some lime juice, some salt...:)

I always find good avocados at Super Ley. If they aren't ripe put them in a brown paper bag overnight. Perfection in the morning.

I read the article about bring beef into Mexico. My dog has health problems and eat BLUE which is brown rice and chicken. There is no beef. So how do I bring his food with him?

Last time down we took Frozen chicken breast and 2 huge Beef roasts. They were in the cooler and they just quickly checked. But they made us go back through and pour our gas cans that we took down for the quads into our vehicles.
They wouldn't let us pour them on their side, was a bit of insane but.... you know.

And never checked our dog food. They did take an updated photo of our monster though.
