I need to poroivide outboards and eng controlls and guages, they will wire and install anything I want $3600.00. He will build a new trailer , I provide axels for $ 1500.00
Sealed floor with dry deck, any color I want under gel coat.
I talked to the harbor master and he said he builds an excellent boat

Sounds waaaaaaay too cheap to me, Bill. I'd be careful and do my homework on this one.

Hey - you're no youngster. Pangas are some rough-riding son of a guns in the chop, unless you're running the tiller at the back of the boat.

Stuart Good comment. Are they rely that bad at say 25 mph ?

And yes the [price is in line with 3 different builders. One in Ensenada and two in Rocky Point.
Equipesca is one that seams the most credible. They have a big fishing equipment store just before the marina
launch area on the harbor frontage road. They even have a 14 ft in the store. Only thing I do not like about
theirs is that it is not a dry deck.
I am thinking about an 18 ft with a 40 hp 4 stroke and my old 15 hp as a kicker.

Sun Devil
I have not found anything comparable at anywhere close to this price.
What is your thought?

Well Bill if the ride gets to rough, you can always make a captains chair with springs under it. Like what they have in backhoes.

Well she did not say know until I had rely decided what I wanted. I told her I would sell the Jeep and till not a happy camper.
So thanks to all comments and now I am looking to go out with anyone that will let me pay some of the expenses

Things are never for sure. The banker AKA Edna has approved the buy so it is time to firm up all that I need to configure it. Steering and motor controls etc.
I will also be looking for a used , with warranty motor in the range of 40 to 60 4 stroke. Any body know where this may be available at reasonable prices.
I do already have a Yamaha 4 stroke 15 that I can use as a kicker
I have no experience on setting up the controls so I need to do my research.
Any comments or recommendations will be appreciated

El Golfo.....they bribe the fishermen with new boats to stop the illegal fishing and then used ones are way cheaper than down south

There are lots of us who go out regularly and would love to take you and Edna along. You didn't like my boat because it was a center console and it was too cold but we learn to dress for that. If we go out grouper hunting there is always the possibility of being skunked, but for the most part, the people who use the right equipment usually can do quite well on my boat.I take people out to help with the gas and we usually go out quite far and do very well. When the seas look good drop me a note or just go to Safe Marina early and hitch a ride with someone. You and Edna are great folks and should have no problems getting out.

MEXICO JOE Very likely. The Jeep will be the first to go.

DON That sounds great and we would be happy to go out with you and kick in on the gas.
We are here about 3-4 weeks and go back to Casa Grande for about 5 days then back.
Any time you are going to be down or think you will be drop a note and we can set it up.
We do have most gear to fish the big stuff. Good poles and reels some terminal stuff.
Thanks so much Bill and Edna

Lund owned by my buddy Scott in Santo Tomas. I,ve gone out on it and all worked and he catches lots of grouper off it...goes 10 miles out.He goes in some rough weather a bit to much for my taste but always comes back...and engineer by trade...keeps it garaged
1972 18 foot length, riveted aluminum-excellent condition, very well built
Motor 2006 Nissan 40HP, 3 cylinder, 2-stroke ,oil injected with power tilt and trim- excellent condition less than 200 hours on it
Someone has built a rear and front deck with carpeted marine plywood there is a pedestal fishing seat front and rear, plenty of storage
200khz Lowrance sonar/fish finder that works well.
Anchor, oars, bilge pump, optima battery, bimini top
Trailer is an ez-loader with tilt and 13 or 14 inch tires. Bearing buddies. Permanent tags for trailer. Has spare tire
Current AZ registration for boat. Good AZ title on trailer
No issues at all.
