9/4/2015 Long Border Wait

People this afternoon reporting a 3 hour wait to cross into Mexico. Hold up on the US side apparently.

I came through headed north around noon yesterday. At that time the line of cars extended at least 2 miles and they continued to arrive way faster than the were getting through at the border. Looking over at the Aduana, it appeared that almost no one, if, indeed anyone was getting a green light. So glad I was headed north. Wait at US Customs was only about 10 minutes this time.

Went through Friday 4th, about 11.00am, heading south. No hold up on the USA side, was the Mexico side. They we're on a tariff frenzy. Every car stopped, every car, trailer, ice chest, food box, every thing went through a shake down. I was about 100 yards before the gas station turn off, and still over an hour wait. Law is the law, and the agents were nice enough, but consistency would be nice too. I ended up at $19.00 US, for too much beer.
