It's been so quiet here I suspect lots of folks have passed on. Please check in if you have died recently so we can keep the membership list up to date. Just a short "I'm Dead" message will do. Gracias.

Your fellow Pennsyltukian is still here, haven't passed on to that great playa in the sky yet! Getting the sandrail ready for October, come on October! I'm going to bring some Rolling Rock and were going to hook up.

I just got back from a week in Taos, which makes more sense than Mexico in August. The grouper and snapper will still be in the SOC in late September and after.

I always get DoDo's in October. Still heat stroke-able to anyone out there without an air conditioned space suit. Last year I was almost done in by it. We hosed each other down with our (cool) fresh water tank for hours, to no avail. Wife had to drive us home from thirty miles out, she was in the failure mode too. Not even any kind of "FUN", just horrible hard work to get the kill caught and into the boat. Think I lost ten pounds in four hours. Never took a pee the entire trip. We did have delicious DoDo fillets that night though. Next mornings deadly leg cramps almost sent me to Cruz Rojo. We WILL do it again though! What a way to go!

Robert E. Lee campground? Aren't you worried that you'll find it all torn down when you get there?
What do you think I was doing there! The eclipse was great...bald eagle steaked across the river just before totality in Smith's Ferry
