I've watched the numbers closely here in AZ and we stayed with the average of 7 deaths a day for a good period of time, and we quickly then jumped to 14 deaths a day; we then seemed to have toped at 17. We dropped down to 14 for 2 days early this week, and like a tire losing air, we've gradually come down to the official tally of +11 deaths as of now, today. No question that the real numbers are higher. All indications are that PP, with tourist and part-timers coming and going, is now ready for a surge. Sedona had the first 2 reports in AZ, and it fits the profile of affluence, mobility, and tourism. Prescott was right on its heels and fit's that mold too. Colorado's high falutin ski resort towns and jump off points for adventure have been hit very hard.
So buckle down my friends and be safe. PP may have had a slow start, but you are on the upswing now. The 3-day delay for Easter will cost lives all across Mexico; don't let it be yours.
