August in Peñasco, are there any people there?

Nic took care of my a/c units when he worked for Kelp. I have continued with him at his new company. He is hard working and honest. Can't recommend him highly enough.

    Mexican Retin A Legal?

I think it would be better to be asked about it then to declare it. We have crossed with it many times over the years with no problems even when it was observed on one of the rare times when we have gotten the red light.

    Horseback on Sandy Beach

I can still remember watching Secretariat rounding the fourth turn in the Blemont and then turning on the after burner! That was unbelievable!

Crossing the border to mexico and back into the US without a passport???

The only issue with people who don't have passports or passport cards is the delay they cause others who do have those documents. Nothing worse than being the next car in line when you see a car full of people in front of you passing one piece of paper after another to the agent. Be a good...

    Craptastic!

I've subscribed to Kelpinc's maintenance plan for the past few years out at the beach in Encanto. Get 4 check ups a year. The service tech Nic is very knowledgeable and competent. I honestly think the service has prolonged my 10 year old units given the exposure to the salt that seems to...

    Stanley Cup Watch

Too bad hockey season is just about over. I would've loved to sit and watch hockey with someone who knows something about the game. That would be a strange scene-a bunch of folks in flips and shorts shouting at a tv with guys wearing skates on ice! We can try for Hockey Night in Mexico next...

    WiFi Internet through Sat-Net

I use Sat Net on the beach in Encanto. For the most part it is reliable. For whatever reason every now and then you either get knocked off the internet or it is down for periods of time. I hear they are upgrading their equipment but who knows!

    Medicinal Marijuana

It's probably more economical to legalize marijuana when you balance the cost of the incarceration and endless appeals of death row inmates considering the number of people in jails for marijuana offenses as opposed to other drugs. As for the "harder" drugs, have at it. Just curious-is...

    Medicinal Marijuana

The guns and ammo were sent down by our govt. in operation Fast and Furious. This whole checkpoint leaving the country is nothing but a political diversion. If I was the president of Mexico I would be p*ssed that a foreign country would arm paramilitary gangs in my country.

    Medicinal Marijuana

For the longest time they had a black sheperd in a pen sitting just next to the declare lane entering MX. On occassion you would see that dog checking out cars. I have not seen that dog, or the one on the US side, in a while but my guess is either one would more than likely be on duty the day...

    Medicinal Marijuana

It's 5 GRAMS not ounces. Even if there is no dog at the border crossing I have seen a dog with the military at various random highway checkpoints over the years. It's not worth the risk.

    I found a canoe

What material is it made of? In the Steinbeck book "The Log from the Sea of Cortez" he writes about wooden canoes used by the indigenous people of Nayarit for hundreds of years. Maybe one broke loose and found its way to Cholla Bay.
