Thanks for the clarification about the FMM. It seems that, although technically required by Mexican law, it is not something that is enforced in the Puerto Penasco area. Didn't want to run afoul of the law my first trip into Mexico :-)

Even though we have a Sam's Club membership, it sounds like construction in that area would make a Sam's run a nightmare. We will probably try Super Ley and Michigan for our groceries while in town.
