We have crossed at Mexicali-East and Tecate dozens of times and have never even seen US agents present on the road much less been interrogated. The bad guys know this too. Thinks it's punishment for Arizona's chipper relationship with the current administration.

Charge $10 for wristband. Wristband is good for $10 of booze or food. Problem solved. Riff raff won't pay and visiting guests would probably spend way more than $10 anyway. If I had rented directly from an Owner I would have no problem forking over $10 that I'd spend on booze anyway.

Thanks for the input. I was just bumping the topic since it was sinking fast and figured a little sarcasm would't hurt while I was it. Traveling tomorrow and will wait until it is paved since we almost drove into an open trench on the coastal hwy "detour" a while back. Will update after the weekend.
