    Hot Rod Ford

Old55 - We've had Sirius in every vehicle since 2004, and currently have 4 subscriptions. When travelling, I won't rent a vehicle without Sirius. You may not find it important, but we do. There are literally NO used or new F-150 trucks with HDPP, so finding one isn't possible.

    Hot Rod Ford

Good luck on your new Ford truck order, unless you'll be happy with losing some items off your build sheet. Fwiw- I ordered a 2022 F-150 screw on 4/15 this year - got vin# and finally got to see window sticker a couple weeks ago - SiriusXm and Navigation have been deleted - and Ford can't/won't...

If you take one last big trip in Mexico where would you go?

We're going to Isla Mujeres and Puerto Morelos early next year - something different. Not sure if it's our last, but it's our next!

Where and how to fish from shore?

"About" 200 yards east of the broken concrete boat ramp at Playa de Oro RV park, is an even more broken down nearly gone boat ramp - look for the remains at low tide. Fish that area. There are some rocks, so keep your lures off the bottom, unless using a weedless bait set up. Good luck, Trigger...

Which RV Campgrounds do you like in Puerto Penasco?

We always stayed at PDO, love the beach and the people there are friendly. Sold our RV, so no trips planned anytime soon.

Giant Solar project , El Homeport back from the dead and a 4 lane toll road to the border!

We drive by the Townsite Solar project in Boulder City, Nevada quite often. The world needs more successful solar projects like that one. I have my doubts about the solar project mentioned above ever being completed. I do expect some land may be cleared, and then a few people will pocket some...

Any Covid restrictions & First trip in a while…

We're still staying home pretty much - the necessary trips to store have us wearing our N95's. Forgot to mention Teri had a few nites of night sweats, without a fever tho. Those first 10 days or more had us napping quite a bit - but appetite, smell and taste all fine. We're close to being out of...

Any Covid restrictions & First trip in a while…

We're into our 3rd week since symptoms showed up on Christmas. We've been careful, triple shots (2 Pfizer in March, booster in October) and masking up. Fortunately, no fever, but 2 weeks of this really sucked, and now still a lingering cough. Omicron will touch most peoples lives in one way or...

    sold our RV

After 24 years of adventures, we sold our RV to some folks we met at the Pickin in the Pines bluegrass festival. Not exactly sure what comes next, but it seems we'll be taking a break from RV travel for a while. We appreciate all the help we've received here, and the kind people we've met over...

How did we get to be in Rocky Point?

Naomi and Russ - Thanks for posting this, I had not read about your story and how you became to be residents and business owners in Puerto Penasco. Well written and an enjoyable read. We're currently loading up our RV for the trip north to Flagstaff and the Pickin in the Pines Bluegrass festival...

    Sonoyta By Pass

We usually just veer left at the Y, then take first right after the bridge onto 16 Septembre - takes you easily thru neighborhood on fresh concrete street to join back to Hwy after congested area. Works well - just go slow like everywhere else.
