I still own a place at Sunriver(Bend) OR. We go up in a few weeks. I hope it doesn't become like Seattle. My house is a no smoking rental house but I do not think it will be enforced. We built the place years ago and my kids lived in it and worked there in the summer. They want to take their families there and enjoy it. We will just have to see what happens. We know people that have a vacation rental at Pagosa Spring CO. They have had problems with renters smoking in the house. Non smoking houses doesn't apply to pot.
We have the same concerns. We own a couple townhomes in Colorado. Rent one out and use the other as a vacation home. We were up there last month with the grandkids. We couldn't keep our windows open because people on either side of us were sitting on the balcony smoking pot all the time.

Saved you the cost of pot as you might get what we used to call a 'dry high' breathing ambient smoke:eek::eek:
At our first condo on Sandy Beach we were on the 5th floor. The renter below us were smoking on the deck which was really small. After awhile my husband said that is pot. And there were about 10 people out there. When we came back from dinner, there was a lot of noise coming from the unit. Apparently the front desk was trying to evict them. There were about 8-10 people camping out in the unit. By nine o'clock they were all gone. The maid told me they had taken revenge for being kicked out. They were friends of the owner. I had that unit 5 years and never had anything damaged but I never rented it myself. I let the front desk do the renting and deal with the problems. We have no smoking sign on the unit at Bella that say no smoking, but we know renters smoke on the patio because I have found ashtrays in the dishwasher. Now renter have to sign something about smoking in the unit and pay for a deep cleaning.
up hanging out in Portland and saw this.....80 bucks an ounce for homegrown.... If Arizona goes the route many Mexican lives will be saved
I would like to try legalizing all drugs, I think. Focus on education and rehab, I think. I say this but wonder if the lifetime addiction to meth, heroin and other hard drugs would get worse. Either way the war on drugs is a huge failure and something radical and new needs to be tried.
