We have friends that are coming from OR in July. Is it too hot to go to Bird Island? Which is the best tour to go on? Also when he was down here about 8 years ago, he got a guy out at Cholla Bay to take him out in his boat to fish for a few hours. It was very reasonable. Much less than the guys down at the port.

only 14 miles from Santo Tomas and the rest of the people can have a nice beach day at Santo Tomas.....fish on the way and the way back....small boat so easy to land if it isn't rough http://www.fishsantotomas.com/

That actually sounds like a better idea. What time would we need to be there to go to Bird Island? Probably only one or 2 would fish on the way out. There would be four of us adults.

You would have to contact Scott. It takes about an hour from RP.I would time it to easy beach launch....not as big a tide change time of month.....
