So last Fridays rain event in the middle of the night set some records for rainfall. From what I hear it hasn't rained that much in one day (this was like 2 hours) in 25 years. By Sunday afternoon a most of the water is gone except for some low areas in the hoods. The damage the wind and the rain did though will not be over for a long time. Many houses were flooded, we had water coming in our front door as well into the kitchen area. Our damage is minimal but many lost possessions.
