Launching Kayaks from Tucson beach

It's been years since I've been to Cholla Bay and I was wondering if it is possible to launch a kayak from Tucson beach (and if there is a place to park the truck while we fish)?

Should be no problem, there is parking for maybe 20 cars including along the road down to Tucson beach. Get there early especially on weekends.

If its Sunday forget about it... Tucson beach has been reclaimed by the nationals
