Rocky Point is a free zone "third world meets first world" city with a cloudy future. Cloudy but not necessarily bad

Interesting description.

What are the benefits of moving to a place like RP? I looked at some of the real estate listing and it doesn't seem like any kind of bargin. Are there other benefits????

It is a friendly community with lots of new housing and infrastructure improvements. Its setting on the Sea of Cortez is beautiful.Taxes are low.A three hour drive gets you to the Phoenix airport. The weather is amazing.....cops are crooked but not too crooked....If the border wall is actually built it will become a boom town filled with new owners who need a foot in both worlds...

Not to mention a hell of a lot closer and cheaper than the so-cal beach communities, great seafood at reasonable prices, better beaches, and the endless fascination of the Mexican culture and it's people.
