Other than being able to vote and buy beach front property, I believe the benefits are minimal and before you do it find out if you will lose your retirement status in USA and the SSA money you work so hard for!!!
Also, it will take you about 10 years, then you have to proof you lived full time there, to obtain your Mexican citizenship or of course pay a large amount of money to do it.
It is easier to be a reverse "wet back" and the properties are cheaper if you stay a couple of blocks away from the beach anyway.
