Sunshine, this won't help you now, but, grab one of the "cafe cups" and leave it in RP with a container of your favorite pre ground in the event you run out again...emergency use. The wife and I keep them at all of our places due to the encumbrance of having to remember 3 pantries. It's saved the day several times.
One new thing my wife & I do when we travel, camp, backpack or go anywhere is to always carry several Starbucks Via instant coffee packets with us. As addicts, we feel the Via instant coffee is better than what is served in most hotels and restaurants and for camping or backpacking the Via's are indispensable.
Puerto Viejo Cafe across from the Thrifty Ice Cream shop in the Malacon has great coffee. They sell fresh in-house roasted beans. My favorite is their darkest roast, the Pirate's blend.
