Thanksgiving Part Two

Just got back from the fish fry... think I'm gonna spload again....

Thanks to Bill for hosting the fish fry.....great cook too!!! Food was great, as was the company....to quote Seadweller....think I'm gonna spload!!!!

Well, I'm home now. Great trip, great dinner Thursday, AWESOME boat trip Friday, great fish fry yesterday and I want to thank Chuck and Val for hosting the festivities on Thursday and Mark and Barb for the awesome boat at an even awesomer price on Friday and Bill and Edna for the yummy fish fry yesterday! And, thanks to Matt and Dusti for helping me out.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And yes, after this weekend, I'm going to spload, too!!!!!!:lol:

Almost... but Bill came to the rescue and saved the day... He went to his place and brought back a big tarp that we all fit under, it was great...

How much did it rain today? I ran into some rain just after the alters on the way home this morning but nothing big. Just enough to let me know that I need new windshield wiper blades. I've only seen it rain a very few times in Penasco. I was there for hurricane Eduardo in 1976... that was cool...other than that only 2 or 3 times.

I just wanted to say that I had a great time thursday at Chuck and Val's for Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks for the invitation, and it was great meeting all of you.

Well, Grim, I am please to say that you are quite a different person and politics is not all of your life, although, Chuck almost have you going there for a second or two, luckly you liked the turkey more and stuffed yourself before another word came out, I know that Kenny would have a great time "socialising" with you and the rest of us!!
It was a great weekend and like everything it must come to and end.
Chuck and Val thanks again for openning your doors to such a diverse group of people, Bill and Edna, although we missed it I heard the fish fry was excellent and a lot of fun was had and last but not least Joester, Terry and Michaella you guys rocked the boat last night with your hospitality and the shrimp cook off, and Bill thanks again for saving us from the torrential rains we got yesterday, it was fun!!!pictures will follow soon!!

Well I missed the turkey on Thurs.( got in a little too late)....but hit the fish fry (thanks again Bill and Edna).....and missed the shrimp.....was in town with my daughter and her friend....watched the torrential rain from a dry vantage point at the BooBar (while watching the Cardinals in a heart breaker loss)....what a view out over sandy beach.....thousands of birds in the water....just floating there. It was great meeting everyone!!!

what everyone else said - thanks to you each for everything!
a real group effort and it paid off with dividends!
from the tasty Thanksgiving buffet, then the coolest day trip ever - fishing, snorkling, dolphins, sea lions, and a frenzy of "catching" (that's all it was, was catching. fishing usually has times of being slow - not so Friday.)
the rewards of the fishing were eaten with big smiles Saturday, thanks again to Edna and Bill!
and the Sunday shrimp boil was fun to have folks over to our place.
Bill, your mastery of the tarp rigging leads me to believe that wasn't your first rain storm on a party.

What a wonderful weekend with good friends. Thanks for all the help and great food on Thanksgiving. The trip to the island was a blast! I'm glad we finished the turkey on the yacht. Bill and Teri you did a great job with the fish and shrimp. I thought the rain was kind of fun... I'm looking forward to next year all over again!

Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate it this day in the US. We wish everyone a busy holiday season too after what has been an up and down year for many.
