Spa's in Rocky Point - advice?

Was wanting to set my wife up with a couple massages and treatments (it's a surprise as she is not really a "spa-diva", however loves it if it initiated for her. I'm a lucky guy that way:smile:) at one of Resorts when we are down in Penasco.

Does anyone have a recommendation of which resort might have the best spa/massages/treatments? Would also be curious of the ambiance and pricing? Best spa/ best pricing? Any specials right now? She had been over to one of the Sonoran resorts a few years back (she seemed to like that) but just wondering if there was another good places to try?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Try Manuel Palacio at Sr. Amigo's...he has a medical spa and massage place on the north end of town. Very nice place, my wife and I both have been there with great results!

There is a woman named Gay that give massages on the beach at Playa del Oro. She drives a blue VW buggy and her tent is next to the boat ramp. Everyone that I know swears by her.

Try Carlos and Alexandra....husband/wife duo....located off Calle 13 on the road to Playa Bonita....right near the last quad rental place and where you can drive down onto the beach. At least the money you'll pay will be going directly to them rather than the exorbitant price at the spas (Sonoran, Mayan), and the workers only get a pittance! I have heard that the therapists at those spas get something like $80-100 per week!

Somehow, I knew Happy Face would get mentioned in this thread... and yes, it is joking.

I know I've made a couple of posts commenting (or complaining) about some other posts that I felt were "innapropriate"....but I sure hope that everything that gets posted doesn't have to be politically correct!!! (And I'm not referring to posts of a political nature!!)

I've been to the spas at Sonoran Spa, Sonoran Sky, and Las Palomas. Sonoran Spa still has the best massages and facials for the same prices.
