Could not believe it. We got to the border about 1:00 all lanes open and we were the only truck. Took about 4 min and that was with my BS . Tomorrow they will close two of the lanes and be backed up a 1/2 mile, just Government efficiency at work.
Yeah/....I was worried about leaving in the afternoon , and when I got to the border about 11am, all three lanes were open, with about 3 vehicles in front of me in each lane....didn't take more then about 10 minutes. The agent I had was great....friendly, but thorough.
When I got to the Border Patrol checkpoint between Ajo and Gila Bend, they had a vehicle off to the side, with the rear bumper pulled off....a guy in plain clothes was putting away one of those large crowbar thingees that they use to pry open doors.....and were pulling out bags of something....the bags were pinkish, but it looked like white powder....looked like 10-15 bags....a lot of what appeared to plainclothes types around, one was video taping
