I tried. Jesus didn't want me to go fishing this weekend (more to follow in a different post). And yes, Buoyweather was spot on - it was very windy and whitecaps as far as I could see on Saturday. Didn't even bother to put the boat in the water. Came back home Saturday.

I *am* looking on the bright side - at least I still have my truck! :-D The wife and I were joking that we would have looked pretty silly sitting on our overnight bags beside that last stoplight as you leave town with our thumbs out, hitching a ride north!
