Anyone got someone down there that has their stuff together, honest, shows interest etc?

Aron Brown is good to deal with. He lives in Cholla and runs Sandy beach rentals. He has been very honest with me.
52 636 110 0850.
If there is a problem with taxes, your trust etc. He will fight to make it right for you if they were in error.
He is a resourceful man, he can have most anything you need done.

An alternative is Jose Galvan and his sister. Office just off Fremont behind Twin Dolphins next to Bufalo car rentals. Gets as A++++ Abogado from a well connected family.

Had some business dealings with his wife Linda Decker a few years back. All I'm going to say here is that was not good on my end and for that reason, never again. Takin the high road .Cuidate Senor.

I wish it was that easy to pay on-line. I'm not aware you can pay many services for owning a home
in Mexico on-line from a US bank or using a US Credit Card.

CFE in person or on-line with a Mexico CC, (I put $$ on my account so I have a credit to pay future CFE bills.
I've read you can pay via Zoom or Western Union for a fee.
Penasco property taxes, in person is only way I'm aware of doing it.
Internet Telmex in person? I use another service provider.
Water and Trash Oompas in person.
Bank trust in person and on-line with a personal portal from BBVA Bancomer (my trust agent).

The guy I suggested charges $200 per year to do bill pay

I pay...electric for 4 properties...office phone...internet...cell phone...water...property taxes all online. Trash is in cash but everything else is online.

Last time I tried to pay CFE It required a Mexico bank credit card. I'll try zoom with Aug bill, probably 60 Pesos. By not being there for 5 months it's cheap.

Ely at Mar de Cortez has been paying our bills for our Sandy Beach Condo and we have never had an issue. He has also been great for any maintainence needs.

Can't you use Bethany's address?

No they want an address where I can prove I live there like an electric bill with my name on it.
ernesto
Anyone use Casago? They dont require a mexican bank account. Mexican banks are incredibly tedious.
InkaRoads
You do not need to have a perm visa to open a bank account in Mexico, the only one that requires it is Banamex, all other are temp visa, CiBanco, Bancomer, Santander and Banorte, all others as Inbursa BajioBanco, Azteca, Coppel Banco, etc. I do not know as they are very small entities and seldom do any international transactions that I know.
ernesto
So Bancomer closed their branch due to covid, People are driving to Caborca to make deposits in order to avoid fees for going below minimum balance. They are a mess.
InkaRoads
IMHO all Mexican banks are a mess, for a simple transaction as deposit or withdrawal they have to jump from software to software to complete it and takes 30 minutes to do something that should take less than 3 minutes, in and out, Bancomer was always bad in Puerto Penasco, hell even in Hermosillo which is a city with a million-plus people in eat.
In top of that my account was open in HMO and I moved to Guaymas in order to activate my card I had to go back to HMO because the branches in different cities in Mexico are not linked to each other, talk about convenience!!
ernesto
Yeah, and now they profit from the shutdown by collecting fees you cannot avoid. Closing accounts is another pesadilla. Just gonna drain mine so they can't do it for me. No mas!
