There is a 5+ mile line waiting to get into Mexico at 6:45 PM, border closes in 75 minutes, lot's of people will be sleeping in their
cars just like Labor Day weekend. More this time. It's backed up to the Visitor Center turn-off.

Yeah, it was a bad one. We got caught in that mess Friday morning heading down. Turned around and back to Casa Grande through the reservation to 86 into Why. With border wait of an hour, took us over 7 hours to get to RP.

Saw the burn scar on 85 yesterday coming back up. Nasty and frightening.

It seems that both sides of the border are not all that intent in helping us cross.
