Wow. An old landmark for Sonoyta. Am I wrong, or has the once-booming business reduced in recent years to almost nothing?

Yes just became a taco stop for the most part. I used to buy tequila and shop around in the 90’s.
What a great outpost that has been for many, many years. I am sorry to see it go but like others I haven't been inside the store in a long time. When we finally moved here in 2007 we started using the back road through Sonoyta so we quit stopping in to see either Eric or Alex (Eric moved to Ajo a long time back and now owns a restaurant there) but for 25 years previous we always stopped and bought a bottle and or some gifts. I think for me that the year 2020 can go away....sooner is better.
