Crime Spree- stolen goods in Miramar, Encanto & Dorado

Yesterday we had a cell phone stolen from our front porch in Miramar by (we are pretty sure) two young men who were selling mango treats. We informed the guards and a Penasco government official who said two young men fitting the same description stole a laptop and a fanny pack/purse in Dorado & Encanto. The two young men were seen getting in to a white taxi with a #192 on it. The police have tracked the taxi and have an idea about who they are. The perps have not been caught yet. Just a warning to not leave any valuables laying around.

Nothing was stolen within the Encanto HOA area. Our guards however, were informed of what occurred further east.

From the latest Miramar HOA Newsletter: “Several homes have been burglarized recently. Many of the homes show no signs of forced entry and usually TV’s were the target object to be stolen”.

The news letter said possibly hidden keys or they were prior workers

We had been told the description of the car they were using is a white Taxi.

White taxi! That really narrows it down! Aren't they all white??
