My weather station here in Playa Encanto records the weather and last night we had gusts over 50mph!
It was bad in Islas Del Mar too, but I don’t have precise numbers. At about 2:30 yesterday afternoon I was out in Cholla Bay in a Hobie pedal kayak when the wind ticked up from below my limit to about my limit. No trouble getting back in, but it wasn’t my favorite.
I had wind gusts at 48mph last night per my weather station on the oceanside in Cholla. Lots of constant 24-30mph wind this morning. Here in NE phx gusts at 40mph.
