It seems Amlo, the hugger, knows what's coming. I'd say US technology can pinpoint the cartel stop-checks and safehouses, and liquify them quite efficiently.

IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

The FUSA is the biggest consumer in the world of these products. The Mexican cartels are the biggest suppliers in the world of these products. So why stop a good thing? Where do you think they learned how to do it all? Try Hollywood "entertainment" for sure. The glorification of the Colombian criminals for sure. Why do you think the 13% ers act like they do?

Just look at what happened to "legalized" weed in the FUSA. Every form of "government scumbag" wanted a cut for themselves. The cartels just bypassed the "legal" growers and corner dope head shops then grow and distribute it themselves. Local FUSA politicians from your city council members to El Presidente himself gets a cut or just plain payoff to ignore the issue.

We used to have an ongoing joke about it all during the so-called "War on Drugs"........we were like a gnat on an elephants ass. A little swish then swat and good luck with that. Paid really good though.

Any logical person would just say legalize it all then let the stupid ignorant masses just terminate themselves. Talk about easy population control!

If your kid is dumb enough to play with deadly dope they shouldn't have ever been born like in maybe having a real concerned parent. Darwin must be spinning in his grave these days.

Good to make the OD treatment kits more available and realize this tragic increase ca not be stopped but can be managed. Alcohol is legal and we joke about it….https://www.pbs.org/newshour/show/study-reveals-stark-number-of-alcohol-related-deaths-among-young-americans

Have you ever wondered why the country of Colombia is no longer in the news?

That is because all of the conflict between the narcos and the gov is long gone.

Colombia is a narco state/country completely taken over by organized crime to include all so-called "elected" fat rats.

See anything similar happening to our neighbor to the south?

Wouldn't worry too much about the conscript teenage boys that are the backbone of their military either.

You crack me up JJ. Darwin spinning in his grave! That’s golden. It’s all good but sad truth is when someone is getting sucked down the drain of the gene pool they usually drag a few people with them that were just trying to help.

Interesting that the cartels now act as quasi governmental entities issuing apologies to neighboring nations and handing over suspects for prosecution.

It’s not surprising to me at all. The cartels know it’s bad business to commit violent crimes against Americans. It’s purely a business decision.

@junglejim I'm trying to find out information on this- do you have an article? I can't seem to find one. Thanks!
Jungle Jim
It was in the Yuma Sun newspaper today in print and online.

Luis Duron, 54 was exercising at the La Milla Sports Complex in Puerto Penasco this morning and was gunned down.

These events are so much like El Salvador, Honduras and Colombia back in the 80's. The criminals own the country since the citizens can't have weapons to defend themselves and the so-called law enforcement and worthless military is just another form of criminal.

Why do any of those turd world countries even need a military?? They wouldn't last a minute in a real fight and fight against who??

I was there.

Thank you- I heard the federales got the thugs who did this

Anyone with the means and money left those turd world latin shit holes years ago, like in the 70's. Most ended up in another turd world shit hole known as south Florida FUSA.

What's left in their home lands are the dregs of humanity who would shoot you in the head just for the thrill of the sound of the gun.

Puerto Peñasco, Sonora.- This morning at the edge of 10:00 am on Thursday, March 23, 2023, the legendary Luis Manuel Lugo Durón "El Puntillas" Former Commander of the Criminal Investigation Ministerial Agency (AMIC) and Former Director of Police of several municipalities of the State of Sonora, facts registered in the city of Puerto Peñasco, Sonora.

Great consternation has caused the death of the Ex-Policeman with a long career in the State Police, who was shot to death in the La Milla sports complex located on Adolfo López Mateos Street, between Vicente Guerrero and Belisario Domínguez Avenues, where the Commander was exercising.

Various authorities arrived at the scene as well as Paramedics from the Mexican Red Cross, who unfortunately found no signs of life in the Commander, taking charge of the painful incident by his former colleagues from the Criminal Investigation Ministerial Agency (AMIC), as well as the Experts of the Attorney General of the State of Sonora.

The lifeless body of Luis Manuel Lugo Durón "El Puntillas" was transferred by a funeral service for the corresponding legal proceedings, a statement from the FGJE Sonora is expected shortly, with more details of this unfortunate news, of the aggressor(s) Nothing is known, at the moment since they fled the place with an unknown destination.

Rest in Peace a good friend of many years, our deepest condolences to his Family and Friends.

Throughout latin america Los Cubanos AKA Russians trained those ignorant killer shit heads well. No matter how long ago, where you go and what you do they will have an obedient dirty little dog follow you. They will kill your wife, kids and even distant relatives in order to make their point. They will make sure that you know that they can take you out any time they want. Simple communist terrorism......shut the FXXK up or die.

They are here in the FUSA and have infiltrated every form of law enforcement from your local hometown Barney to the royally appointed diversity chief in charge by our glorious El Jefe in DC.

This Biden plan is the game changer at the border where numbers are now at a two year low :
The administration has also proposed generally denying asylum to anyone who travels though another country on their way to the U.S. without seeking protection there — effectively all non-Mexicans who appear at the U.S. southern border. That proposal, which has met with stiff criticism from immigration rights advocates, is currently in a 30-day comment period before it is expected to go into effect when Title 42 expires in May.

Not a communist btw Jerry. Just concerned how China and Russia have been infiltrating North America. For example purchasing real estate, mines, natural resources and having actual police stations within in a foreign country.

The violence is definitely getting closer to home. I imagine when it starts affecting the tourist money influx and Sandy Beach Condo rentals the "powers that be" will put a stop to it. All the gringo homes that have squatters as well. Last count I heard was 71. No bueno.

Nothing new and good luck with that...........Who you gonna call. It's a foreign country that does not recognize Gringo law.

You might take a look at Mexico "Squatters Rights".

If the so-called owner of the property doesn't have the time to occupy it then someone else just might do it for them, legally.

I know Mexican citizens in PP that lost their rights to their "legally" owned property to squatters and couldn't do a damned thing about it.

Also, that Mexican big shit cop that just got himself terminated at the sports complex in PP has a home and family right here in Yuma! Why didn't he invest his retirement cash in PP? Duh.

Same shit been going on since my first memories of Mehico in the 50's as in Ensenada, Rosarita Beach and San Felipe BC.

Have you all forgotten or conveniently don't remember what happened to so many Cholla Bay properties back in the 80's? And again in 2008??

I have several friends here in Yuma that lost their homes there and had them stripped bare to include every door and window to the frames then "legally" taken by squatters AKA "real estate" agents then resold as in the "Bat Man" special agents now so firmly implanted in CB. They know without a doubt that the spiel they pitch is just a plain lying crock of horse shit.

And by the way Rocky Point can get along just fine without the Gringo "cash influx" now.

Sad to say but we’re pulling up our roots in PP and heading for Europe. Times are a changing as in getting worse by the day. PP is worse than a dawgs breakfast.

J.J.Squatter's are everywhere, but I have to admit it's easier here in RP than elseware..... https://www.foxnews.com/us/delaware-man-loses-125000-property-squatter-neighbor-after-trying-remove-goat-pen-she-built-it.. It is estimated that there are 800 to 900 million squatters in the world... Arizona squatter laws... as little as 2 years https://www.phoenixpropertymanagement.biz/blog/arizona-squatters-rights.. I was involved in an adverse possesion problem in Arizona (Pinal County), but was settled favorably to both parties out of court.. I also know a realtor in Casa Grande that lost a piece of land to a squatter in an adverse possesion case.

I had tenants that took their time leaving a few years ago. I nicely informed them that I would toss a skunk in the back door if they wanted to push my buttons. I then sat in my truck for a couple of days they left.

"Two people lost their lives by drowning and suffering a heart attack while they were enjoying moments of recreation in the vicinity of Playa Hermosa, in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora.

According to the police report, Lilia Angélica, 49 years old and originally from Mexico City, drowned when she was bathing in the sea this Saturday afternoon.

Elements of the Red Cross and the Tourist Auxiliary Unit gave her first aid and managed to revive her, but she lost her life when she arrived at the General Hospital.

At the scene of the accident, Francisco, 45 years old, originally from Mexico City, notified the authorities that his wife went into the sea to swim while he remained sitting on the sand and minutes later when looking for her he only observed his head floating

On the other hand, Corey George, 66 years old residing in Suisun City, California, United States, who died of heart disease while trying to take a ride on a banana panga.

Upon arrival at Playa Hermosa, security and emergency personnel found a male with a robust complexion, dressed in black shorts and a gray T-shirt, lying face up on the sand.

A Sonoran Sea paramedic went to the scene to provide first aid services and after giving him CPR and did not respond, so he checked his heartbeat and realized that he no longer had vital signs."

Wow what a great trip.A lot of it is timing.I had a blast in peru years ago and just heard a friends story about having to walk 30 miles along rail road tracks after a general strike stopped the trains.
