Perro, at the Alduna checkpoint past San Jorge they are building a 4 story barracks for a 150 count military unit.It is going up fast.I find the National Guard guys are way easier on people passing through but you need to have your papers in order.
I did see that going up and was bringing back some stuff I switched out at my house in LC, left my passport in my duffel bag and had to dip under some stuff to get it out. What a work out it was especially with this carpal tunnel.
That road is terrible coming back through Nogales, I did end up messing up 3 tires on truck cause of the weight on truck.
The soldiers were the ones doing the construction when I went through.
I know a few people from New Mexico that always go that way. i am headed down that way in a month as I have to stop at the tax office in Nogales …Man you must have hit some big Potholes Perro!
