Mother's day, Dia de las Madres, here in Mexico is tomorrow. It is celebrated here more than most other holidays. If you are a mother you will get gifts or a pastel, cake, from many people, not just your own children.

Happy Mother's Day to all. We just finished buying a yummy meal for our mom and lolling in the pool with rum swizzles. Thank God for Costco and already cooked chicken, potato salad, green salad and Cheesecake!!!!! No muss, no fuss and lot's o' rum and coke!!!!! It could only be better if we were in PP!!!!!!
It did suck that we had to pack up and come home on Mom's Day but at least I got a call from my son in Maui and my daughter just moved back home (oh yippy). She had a very nice card and flowers waiting for me and promised to take me out to lunch this week. So overall, it was great.
