I wonder if you have to share the RR car with chickens and goats on the "second class" train???? :roll: :lol:

It's a long ride with 3 or 4 towns, could take a week maybe 2, looks more comfortable than an airplane, but too hot for the summer 108-110 degrees!!! :eek3:

La cascadas de Piedra Volada remminds me of Machu Picchu area and the Urubamba valley.

I took a trip from Laredo down to Acapolco once on te tran. We went for two weeks. Got off and on at various towns and cities. One of the safest and best trips I have ever taken. Food was good, sleeping car small but very clean. Would love another train trip.
