Can't go wrong with Chango's up near the Sonoran Sea, Great band, nice atmosphere.
Wrecked at the Reef was pretty fun the last time I was there.

For real local color and dancing try the Barra Vieja off Cale 13 behind Kinos. Don't go before 11 or early in the week though.

Amen on the Barra...great place! REAL Mexico vibe there boys and girls.

Joe, what up buddy? You gonna be down for the JJJJ? I'm hoping there will be a bunch of us 'Down Together" for some 'Mexican Moonshine' and some 'Mexicosis'. I've 'Wanted' some 'Mexico' for months now!

We have become good friends with Manuel at Sr. Amigos and they have decent music and a couple pool tables...they ALWAYS take really good care of us. Too bad about Manny's...what an icon! Always loved being there, anytime, day or night!

Not coming down for RCP...have made 2 trips to Penasco this month already...and can't afford another one.....

I heard that Manny's was going to open for Spring Break....I think someone posted that on Facebook...

We were down for the weekend Fri-Sun and had a fab time!

Checked out Wrecked at the Reef a few times (loved it! we even played pool and ping pong, but I wish they had shuffle board) and, of course, JJJJ (who could miss that!), but still need to ck out Barra Vieja, Changos, The Hideaway and Sr Amigos, although we decided to pass on Gau Gaus, so maybe next trip (you guys really crack me up) ;-).

Also, hit up the Mexican Denny's (aka Sombrero on Calle 13) for some pretty good eats at 2:30 in the morning after the RCPM concert and lived to tell about it! Met some great folks there, too, who had a sail boat at the docks!

All in all it was a wonderful trip and we are really looking forward to going back!

Thanks for the invite, tho! Maybe next year! This year, we found a place near the stage and pretty much stayed there all night.
