My wife and I were down there were down there last weekend for the night and stayed at the Rosarito Beach Hotel. We payed the standard weekend rate ($79) and were given a beach front cottage, since the place was empty. Between the economy and shooting reports its pretty empty down there. Add that to the falling Peso and people are struggling down there.

In the last 6 years since I have been there it has really grown. We never once felt unsafe, but then again cartel hitman don't tend to advertise they're prescence ;)

We still prefer PP
