Local street talk is that upwards of 100,000 are expected for the Weekend. I'll be buying an 8 pack and sitting on Calle 13 !! Lots of free entertainment. It's gonna be a great weekend.

If you go, don't try to drive on or close to Calle 13. All the streets and side streets can become a parking lot with no vehicles moving.

I think 100k is a bit optimistic, but there is already a ton of people in town and in my hood there is a lot of cars parked on the street in front of all of my neighbors houses I think because there is no rooms available in town. Thats nice to come in from Mexicali and have a place to stay near the beach with family.

Count me out; I hate crowds. Having had the pleasure of being there during many big events in the past, this old fart would rather come on weekends when muerto rules the town. Don't get me wrong; I think it's GREAT for the town, just not right for me anymore.

It was really nice to see people here again yesterday, but I gotta go to. Its not any fun when the place is packed.

Stayed in Cholla last weekend with the wife and some friends, and on Saturday loaded up the toys and did a day trip to El Golfo. There was 25k people if there were 2. From the base of the light house hill to the water and as far as the eye could see down the beach...packed.

Spending the day there remeinded me of what RP used to be like 20+ years ago. I honestly don't remember seeing a single policia vehicle my entire time there. I can only imagine what's like at night.
