Slow trip down

We came down yesterday. Left Casa Grande about 1:30 and got here at about 7:30.
There was a bad roll over accident almost to Lukeville on the US side. Three ambulences and 2 medivac hilos. We undewrstand there were 4 children and some adults involved. Finally on the way again and about 15 miles into Mexico we got a flat on our trailer. No problem there but the guy at the tire shop had to have used a semi tire sized impact wrench to put the lug nuts on. As many of you know I an not a little guy and it maxed me out getting the tire off. Then we got to town and hit the trafic. Calle 13 was a parking lot that extended on to the highway. After that it was trafic trying to get to the Malecon. I was finaly able to turn off on a side road and then to PDO. 8:00 and down to Capones for a burger and a beer. Even that was a bust due to warm Indio. Well the burger was great.

Weather is great and the ocean is flat.

That describes Dubrovnik pretty well during that period. I was there in '77. Lots of soldiers with red stars on their hats and sub-machine guns. Beautiful town, but repressed. Locals wouldn't even talk to us sailors, probably for fear of reprisal by the commies/KGB.

Good to hear u made it safe. Weather good water flat. What more is there. We hope to be at PDO first part of May. We where down 1st week in April only a few trailers in the park
