Thought I would put this out there now. Would like a beach house that is simple and not over the moon pricey for long term lease. We will be moving from Mazatlan where we have lived for three years and love it and Mexico. Just want to be a little closer to family in Tucson and San Diego. Just two of us with small dog pets. Excellent tenants with great references. "Mature". I have a list of long term rental sites, but thought this might be a good venue, too. My husband is going up next week to check our various locations. No condos or apts.
Welcome to Penasco. We moved here full time in Sept and love it - everyone is really great and fantastic beaches. And the drive to Tucson and San Diego are easy - especially with the new coast highway opened up. We haven't tried it but others have mentioned that it is really nice (I do remember the old way coming for California and that wasn't fun).
Have a friend who is going to let their place on a long term lease but it is a condo. Fantastic place and several dogs live here full time - just in case you can't find what you are looking for elsewhere.
Thanks. I am pretty familiar with the area and Mexico in general and we have a good friend who has lived there now for about 15 years, but we have only passed by. Always good to get various points of view, as leaving Mazatlan is hard. So much culture, music, theater and things to do, but alas, far away from an easy trek to family. As long as there is a beach, I have books, and a dog's head to pat..okay by us. Anyone that wants to email me privately is welcome to do so, [email protected] El Gato, we just like a bit more privacy than a condo usually affords, but I did see a few unique ones that "feel" like houses.
Let's just say we don't need a 4 bdrm, 3 ba, 4000 sq. ft. on the beach, gated community. Our place in Mazatlan is huge and almost too big for us, so want to downsize some but still feel we are close to the beach and possibly a view of some sort. Yes, I know....asking for the moon, but whoever gets us as tenants get the cream of the crop. Just as I have with our house in Arizona. (hear the hand pat on the back..pat,pat)
I posted our email address a few posts up, but here you go. [email protected]. The problem being, we aren't quite ready yet as we will honor our lease here in Mazatlan. My husband is coming up next week to get a feel for various areas, but we have been told by a good friend, (whom my husband will visit) who owns Al Capone's that Las Conchas is probably a good bet.
Ask that "good friend" of yours who owns Al Capone's if he is current with his Las Conchos HOA dues. Why everyone from Las Conchas continues to visit Capone's is beyond me.
