Wailing Sirens

If you hear a continuous wailing of sirens which sound appears to be moving rather slowly, please don't worry, it's a mini-parade. This often frightens the newbies. It got my attention years ago till I saw them go by. Police car or two, lights and sirens. Firetruck, or two, lights and sirens. Sounds like the entire police force has been mobilized. Ahh, but there in the back of the firetruck, a 3 foot high trophy and a bunch of kids in uniform !! The champs of, of, something, baseball, soccer, basketball, the winners get a thrilling (and noisy) ride through town waving frantically at everyone, usually followed by parents vehicles declaring who won !! One parade just went down Fremont, having a ball. Don't think you see that much anymore in the US, except maybe in the small towns.

They pulled out all the stops last weekend! Big win for the school and might have been a vote for Queen & King (mostly queens) of the school. They were so happy! Parada Parada!
