Coming down, need to know what to bring down from bass pro?

These lures will get the job done all day long off of Cholla Bay. Corvina, Spotted Bay Bass, Triggerfish & Sierra will munch the paint out of these lures.

any particular color on the Luhr's? What size is best bet?

I like medium depth crankbaits from the yak for all the above-mentioned species. Rapala saltwater, Rebel fast-trac, etc. About 4" or 5" long. Blue/silver or black/silver or orange/silver. I don't think color matters most of the time. Run at depths 5-10 feet keeps them in the strike zone most places but above the reef so you don't get hung up.
Kastmasters work well too.

Any color will work, and I like using at least at 2 ounce lure. I even caught those fish on a bare 2 oz. leadhead, no natural bait or plastic swimbaits. If you're in an area that holds fish, those fish are not finicky at all.

waters to rough right now for yaks, but off the beach Im nailing macks, leather jacks, and I hooked what looked like a sea trout.

Using kastmasters, cleos, and others with blue or green strips.
