i'm assuming in Las Conchas, as that's what section this was posted on. I've seen some scary stuff in the summer in Las Conchas when everyone's AC is cranked up and you can actually SEE the current running up and down.
Oh, didn't notice the section. Heard something from my casa in the Mirador but couldn't determine where the sound came from. Thought is was just another attack from the cartel.
A few years back, when California was also having those PGE-induced rolling blackouts, Penasco was doing the same sort of thing, though I think it was more in residential areas. I noticed it as I was "dating" a gal who lived there in the main part of the city, and she and her roommates acted like it was normal and something they just lived with. My condo in Las Conchas would go off here and there as well during the day. I don't think the electric co. was keeping major businesses in the same loop, however.
Anyone hear those transformer blow last night? Though we were under attack.:aagh:
The first 'bomb' woke myself, wife and daughter out of bed about 1am. I saw several more transformers blow over the next couple hours. Guard gate was very quick in getting the electric co out and we had power back on by 8am.
Pretty crazy seeing all those transformers blow up , up and down the line. I heard that the supervisor from the electric co was very concerned that the wooden poles would catch fire. They sent out a 'rapid response' team to get things fixed right away.
