airport question

can anyone give me any info on the airport in Puerto Penasco? I've tried looking for flights online, but haven't had much luck. I recently went to Mexico City for a music festival & made several new friends. now we're trying to figure out the best way to hang out again. since I can drive to Puerto Penasco in 4 hours, I was thinking maybe they could fly in & meet me. so does anyone know if any airlines do flights between Mexico City & Puerto Penasco?

If those flights that used to come from Mexico City aren't running to Penasco anymore they probably would have to fly into Hermosillo and rent a car from there.

This one runs from Queretaro to Penasco, supposedly, for just over $2000 pesos. It's just north of Mexico City, but still quite a drive.

With the way the economy is private planes have really droped in price.. fly in yourself..takes less than an hour from KGEU

Last I heard there were no regularly scheduled commercial flights into the airport. There are charters occasionally.

it makes me sad when I travel & make friends in other countries & they show me around their cities, but then they aren't able to come visit me in the U.S. :-(

Politics Faye...the 1% ers loved using cheap mexican labor to counter wage pressure from skilled tradesmen during the housing bubble and now they are using them again to turn one part of the blue collar world against the other.
