After seeing Ajo on Borderwars on Natgeo and talking to an ICE agent, it seems Ajo and the Organ Pipe National Forest is the new epicenter for large drug shipments. Pretty crazy to think that somewhere in Sonoyta there is a warehouse full of narcotics! Is Sonoyta the new staging area in Northern Mexico?

According to a friend who is a long time Penasco resident (American).....drugs have always been coming in thru Penasco and the road to the border....just not as publicized (or violent) as other areas....

Who do you think owns that nice casa on the right side at the bottom of the hill (across from the Pemex) in Sonoyta? The one with the stone walls along the road up?

Chickenfeed (5000 lbs) this time of year they sometimes sacrifice the first cuttings to get the bigger load of better weed through.BP is happy (it's all numbers) American consumers are happy and the makers of Contact Paper (shelf lining paper used to wrap bales) are seeing business boom. It was a funny moment in a Target at Sierra Vista this week to see a group of men with a shopping cart full of Wood colored shelf paper and in the next line another guy with a cart full of packaging tape and urethane spray cans. I was shocked to see them all load up in the same F-250. The big weed shipments still come through the reservation. It is like Afghanistan in a way.Half the tribe fights for us,half for the "enemy" and they all make a buck or two in the process.
