SOMETHING TO DO ON SATURDAY:

"On Saturday, Feb. 18th, the wine tasting experience will continue as the wineries will once again be set up inside Don Julio’s beginning at 10 a.m., coinciding with the Farmers/Art Market to be held in the large parking area just behind Don Julio’s (turn on the street just past the Bank Banorte to find this “plaza”). Again, for the wine tasting within Don Julio’s entry bracelets will be $5 US and wines will be available for purchase. The Farmers/Art Market of course is free and continues to draw new vendors, so it’s worth a stop by on Saturday for sure!

Just to think, 90% of all wine produced in Mexico is from Baja California! Salud!"

Jerry, you old wino. Who'd a thunk it.

I wish I were going to be there, but I miss it by a couple days. I could almost crawl home from there.

Don Julio's is in the old Las Fuentes location on Fremont just past Sinaloa, right hand side going toward Las Conchas. Big building, signs hard to miss.

You know what Roberto, all booze is bad for gout, but beer is the worst. I went for years thinking wine was bad but came to
find out that beer is the worst, a glass or two of red wine is not too bad. I love both but even before this attack, six weeks ago had
cut back. Longest attack I've ever had. When I get back, I will start on a permanent drug to help prevent it. You can't start to take it during an attack.

Hey, maybe mota is good for gout !!
