Travelers going from Tucson to Phoenix may soon be blazing across the desert in speeding solar bullet trains propelled by the sun’s rays. Pipe dream....28 billion dollars and no real way to secure the right of way need for the tracks

Tracks? It's just gonna fly through the air, man!

To the best of my knowledge, Phoenix no longer has a train station. I think you have to go up to Flagstaff (or perhaps to Maricopa) if you want to take AMTRAK anywhere.

I can't imagine there would be enough daily commuter traffic between Phoenix and Tucson to ever make something like that "economically viable." Just what we need - another train that doesn't go anywhere! :lol:
