Maybe it's just my type of card but Bancomer has been the lowest fee, like 22 pesos, for a transaction. Today the fee was 66 pesos.:shock: Needless to say I did not use them today. Called NBA where the account is and they said no increase on their end.

Please help I want to pay my Elect on line but understand the only way you can do this is with a Mex. Visa. May sound dumb but how do I get one ?? some one said you have to open a checking acct. At the local banks and keep a $200. balance in order to get a visa card. Last mo. I tried to use my American visa card @ the Pre-Mex On Freemont and they said no American Visa only Mex. Visa. So confused.

There are a few local banks that will open an account and give you a debit card with just your passport. In most cases to obtain a Mexican credit card, you will need to open an account with an FM-2 or FM-3 and establish a short history with the bank first (usually 6 months to 1 year). I also know of a bill pay service that charges $50.00 per year for any amount of bills, this is far less than the others that charge $10.00 per bill.

You can set up at savings account and have them debit your CFE bill automatically. That's what some people do. It's takes a month to get it set up at the bank/CFE is what I understand. Try Bancomer first.

Ely at Rocky Point Beach Home and Condo Rentals | Puerto Peñasco pays all my bills and manages my rental, he was the manager for seaside for many years does a great job, will do a check on your house too. Daniel is a nice guy too. they are located in the shopping center behind the pemex across the entrance to las conchas. great rentals too, away from the stuffy sandy beach area...

I have been using my capital One Visa at Pemex in both Sonoyta and PP for a couple years now and they never have turned me down.
