Also, sad to report, a guy selling birds on Fremont at Sinaloa. Parakeets, Parrots and probably other colorful birds jammed into cages. Wish I could buy them all and let them loose.

Are the Asparagus still a $1 a bunch? I can make a whole meal on fresh, tender asparagus :) Add a few shrimp and I'm in heaven.

The birds -- they used to sell them in the border crossing line in downtown Nogales. Unfortunately, they are illegal to bring across the border. I'm sure the same guy probably sold the same birds over and over and over... save yourself the trouble and buy a beer monkey instead.

Or, give more money to the lady and the one arm guy at the border. She needs a new walker and glasses and he needs a new smaller money cup and t-shirts

I saw the guy on Fremont today selling the birds and I stopped and asked if they taste like chicken and he said yes.......
