That information is not available. There is no MLS irrespective of what you might be told. Any information you might be given is suspect. One sales person told me they sold 168 homes this year and actually kept a straight face, I did not !! The system that is identified as the MLS is the personal fiefdom of one person who uses it for their own profit dispite the fact that all members of AMPI pay for it. The AMPI VP for ethics is aware but has done nothing.
The condos offer convenience and amenities but you pay a lot over the years and have little to no control over what happens in the HOA and management company. Right now you can buy a nice ocean view casita in Playa Lopez for $40K or in the Mirador for $100K, no hoa fees.
I know of 3 condo's closed in Las Palomas in the last Month, One was listed for 59,000 and sold for 53,000 cash, another sold for 79,000 on a owner carry. This is just hearsay from my sources at GG's.

Las Palomas or Las Palmas - and are you sure that wasn't fractional ownership? I haven't seen anything that far below $100k.
It seems like the Spa, Princesa, and 1bedrooms at Las Palomas are the least expensive. Unfortunately, the Spa seems a little run down, and the bad reputation and high HOA fees put people off from Las Palomas. Never stayed at Princesa so I have no opinion. Price and distance from the beach are downsides to Bella Sirena. JMHO. I know everyone has their preferences.
Wow... seems that prices have dropped yet again. Might be time to start shopping.
Others would know better, but I really think that we hit bottom during the summer. Although as others have mentioned before, there's a new law that may have an affect on prices.
agree, its a great price for a 1 bedroom (899 sq ft). Although it probably is considered the least appealing unit among the 800+ units at Las Palomas. The unit probably has the smallest ocean view of any. Either way, great price! Condos Sold in Las Palomas, Puerto Penasco/Rocky Point, Sonora $72,000
Inventory is moving. If someone is considering buying, this may be the best time to buy.

But you have to admit $69,000 for the one bedroom Opalo 602 is pretty darn cheap at Las Palomas.
I can attest to the fact that prices are not going down. Although, I have seen very few actual price increases from current Sellers, the "fire sale" deals are pretty much gone and they are not being replaced by similar low priced listings. Plus, Sellers have seen the trend and are being less flexible on lower offers. That means that, generally speaking, prices are actually going up. At least, that has been the case at our Resorts. For now, it has been very gradual but if all goes as we think that it will, next year should be a good one.
