Dog, I want authentic Puerto Penasco sunsets! I'll even open it up to sunrise as well for all of those east/south beach posters. Come on Jerry I know you have a few! :jerry2:.
The thread has started wonderfully, keep the pictures coming and maybe we can make this into a "sticky".
Love that picture #6! Wish I could have it blown up and matted, would be a perfect picture to stair at on a daily basis! This thread is rocking, let's keep knocking!
THREAD SUGGESTION: Just as when you realize the picture of someones new girl picture is really out of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and you feel the combination of pity and annoyance you really have to take the sunset picture yourself in Sonora.

I really like the contrast in #2 Jerry, excellent ST sunset!
He's back! I wondered where Moore had wandered off to. Excellent shot, water like glass, put away the fishing pole and pull out the wake board my ooo my thats glassy! Great pics, thanks for contributing!
#3 has great color and pop, from #4 looks like you live near Pinto Pt.
I can't take credit for #3 but yes it pops hard and the variance and contrast of the colors is amazing. Picture #4 is mine however I'm not a homeowner in Cholla Bay, I'm the guy on the couch since '98. Maybe one day but for now I'm just a frequent visitor and really feel like Cholla Bay is home. It's hard to explain but the anxiety if there is any goes away the minute I enter Cholla Bay and it feels as natural as the neighborhood I live in. I'm not necessarily into photography by any means but I do enjoy a good background photo for the pc and phone. I've found it's easier to get great photos by taking an excess amount of photos. Take 40 photos and you're going to get 4 or 5 gems!
Thanks to everyone that has contributed thus far. We have some great photo submissions and I would like to encourage the use of photobucket.com as some of these photos would look really good in a larger format. Photobucket is an online database of your photos that can be accessed anywhere at anytime. It's free, takes less than 5 minutes, all you need is an email account. You can use photobucket without creating an account if you have a facebook account. Just sign in using your facebook account and choose either to let facebook auto share photos ( i dont do this ) or skip. Photobucket is used by most forums and enables the user to simply click one button and copy the image url. Paste it into the text and boom, large display photos. If any of you have about five minutes to open and reload a few of these fantastic photos it is strongly encouraged.
Actually Larry, I couldn't get him in until the next morning during low tide.
Holy Smokes! That is one of, if not the biggest Corvina I have ever seen caught from shore! How big was that fish? Have you ever caught one larger than that?
Now, I realize this is a sunrise picture and this is a sunset picture thread, BUT, here is a picture I took and without realizing it,
caught Kenny catching that huge perch or whatever it was that early morning. Look hard and you can see him in the middle of the picture.

I caught one about the same size at Marua estuary 5/6 years ago. Not sure how big they were, but I'd say 34 inches or so.
Now this picture below is a little deceiving because how my shirt has been stretched so far down and the angle, but if you look at my hand and put a imaginary line where my belt would be you can get a better idea of how big this fish really is. The picture was taken at a friends rental at Encanto. Oh, the small one on down the stringer was about 17 inches.
NOT FROM MEXICO... but sweet nonetheless :) - love the white cloud outline.
here's one from 3 years ago - from Cane Garden Bay, Tortola, BVI, looking west to St Thomas

You can see Mt McClellen and Mt Wrightson from your place in The Mirador?
Wow, you must have some whopper of a telephoto lens on that camera.
It is a whopper of a telephoto lens given thee cercumference of said distance from said gps findings in bringing in supper zoom capabilities from said El Mirador holdings, in that zoom capabilities can therefor bring in close to observe said white dwelling there by located Freemont passage showing dwelling arches with zoom telephoto

Love the pastel blue in the first picture, it has a real Spanish feel. If the bucket wasn't in the pic I'd matt and frame that! Excellent work. Same with #5, great photo! Thanks again Leigh, looking good. Would love to see those full res.

Agreed! You also need to have the girl yourself! :)

That kind of defeats the purpose of the porn industry... also, if your can't "have" one, you can always lease with an option to buy. The problem is deciding between a classic or a fancy new one. I could probably trade-in the one I have for two 20s, but I'n not wired for that anymore.
